Qidi filament boxes deliver active drying at a maximum temperature of 65°C during the printing process itself. This capability keeps filaments in optimal condition by removing moisture in real time, which supports stable extrusion for materials that absorb humidity readily. The sealed chamber design integrates with four filament channels equipped with hardened steel dual gears and 42-stepper motors to ensure reliable feeding. Individual indicator lights provide immediate status feedback for each channel while real-time sensors track temperature and humidity levels inside the enclosure.

These filament boxes enable automated management through run-out detection, tangle detection, clog detection, and NFC intelligent recognition of spools. Auto filament refill switches to a backup spool seamlessly when needed. The system expands by connecting multiple units via a hub to handle up to 16 filaments at once. Compatibility covers 1.75 mm diameter filaments across a range of types including PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, PET, PA, PC, PVA (dried), BVOH (dried), PP, POM, HIPS, TPU 64D and composite variants such as ABS-CF/GF, PLA-CF/GF, PETG-CF/GF, PPS-CF, PET-CF/GF. Spools fit within width of 50-72 mm and diameter of 195-202 mm. A removable top cover and transparent window facilitate monitoring and spool changes without interrupting workflow.
